Position Description:

Responsible for generating demand and ensuring sales of Elanco’s farm products at CP customers in Vietnam. Manage the assigned area, understand customer needs, and provide suitable solutions to strengthen customer relationships and drive sales growth. The senior sales specialist must focus on customer engagement, effective communication, and seamless collaboration with internal teams to achieve business objectives.

Functions, Duties, Tasks:

  • Understand customer needs to provide valuable solutions through Elanco’s farm products, ensuring the customer is at the centre of all interactions.
  • Plan and analyse customer needs on a monthly and quarterly basis, including developing action plans (account plans) to optimize sales strategies and achieve company goals.
  • Demonstrate effective collaboration skills with support teams, including marketing, technical, O2C, Regulatory, supply chain, and finance, both internally and externally, to drive the achievement of set goals.
  • Continuously assess and understand customer needs to forecast their purchasing plans monthly and identify opportunities for expanding customer potential.
  • Ensure smooth execution of customer bidding activities and the import process for customer goods.
  • Always put the customer at the centre, stay ready with technology, and experiment in new development areas to strengthen customer relationships.
  • Act as a project owner for projects or product trials conducted with customers.
  • Comply with company policies, including Ethics and Compliance.

Minimum Qualification (education, experience and/or training, required certifications):

  • 3 years of sales experience with key accounts in poultry or pig farming in the veterinary pharmaceutical industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in animal Husbandry or Veterinary Science. Knowledge of diseases in pigs and chickens.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, while also working independently, utilizing personal resources to meet job requirements.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to plan and align objectives.
  • Fundamental computer skills (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
  • Fluent in English (listening, speaking, reading, writing).
