Job Description
DiCentral Vietnam is hiring a Help Desk Specialist I in Ho Chi Minh, SG. This is a full-time position.
Office location: Quality Tech Solution Complex, Trung My Tay Ward (formerly District 12)
Working time: Monday – Friday. 9 AM - 6 PM
As a Help Desk Specialist, you will:
- Technical Support & Problem Solving
- End-User Support: Provide tier-1 and tier-2 technical support to APAC employees (both local and remote) via ticketing systems, email, chat, and in-person.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and peripheral issues for Windows environments.
- Onboarding & Provisioning: Manage employee lifecycle IT operations, including configuring, imaging, and shipping laptops, as well as setting up user accounts and access permissions.
- System Administration & Infrastructure
- Internal Systems: Administer local and cloud-based internal systems (e.g., CCTV, Door Access Control, etc.).
- IT Equipment: Maintain and troubleshoot regional office IT equipment, including printers, phone systems, and conference room meeting hardware.
- Asset & Vendor Management
- IT Asset Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of all regional hardware, software licenses, and IT peripherals throughout their lifecycle (procurement to disposal).
- Vendor Relations: Participate in managing local internet service providers (ISPs), hardware vendors, and IT contractors to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met and procurement is cost-effective.
- Corporate Liaison & Collaboration
- Corporate IT Alignment: Cooperate with the Global Corporate IT team in ensuring global policies, security standards, and tooling are successfully deployed locally.
- Localized Projects: Assist in executing global IT initiatives, facilitate infrastructure or system upgrade projects specific to the APAC region, and participate in IT and office administration projects in the APAC region.
- Documentation: Create and maintain localized IT documentation, user guides, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Requirements for Success:
- Experience:
- University Graduate in Information Technology
- Working or internship experience in an IT service desk, desktop support, or system administration role, ideally within a multinational or fast-paced corporate environment.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in administering Windows platforms.
- Microsoft Certified 365 Administrator is a strong plus.
- Soft Skills:
- Fast learner, passionate about adapting new technologies and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong sense of ownership and urgency.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong work ethic and team attitude.
- Languages:
- Basic proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is required.
- Advanced professional English skills are highly advantageous.
- Flexibility:
Ability to occasionally work flexible hours to coordinate with global teams in different time zones or support critical out-of-hours infrastructure maintenance.
