Job Summary: TRAIL-EZE is seeking a skilled and dependable Welder to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components used in the construction of heavy-haul trailers while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and craftsmanship. Monday-Thursday • Daytime Hours • 4-Day Work Week • No Weekends • No Overnight Shifts Starting pay is based on experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Fabricate and assemble metal components using welding equipment and gas torches Perform welding in flat, vertical, and overhead positions Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions using an iPad Maintain required tolerances and quality standards Position and secure materials using tables, jigs, clamps, fixtures, bolts, and tack welds Safely operate welding equipment, hand tools, power tools, and related equipment Move workpieces, tools, and supplies manually or with overhead cranes Grind, finish, and prepare completed products Inspect welded surfaces and structures to identify defects or quality concerns Repair or replace damaged components by removing and installing new parts as needed Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area Work independently while also being a dependable member of the team Qualifications and Skills: Previous welding and fabrication experience is preferred Ability to read and understand blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to workplace safety and proper PPE use Ability to safely lift, move, and handle materials as required Willingness to learn new skills and grow within the company Work Environment and Physical Requirements: Manufacturing/shop environment Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and physical activity Ability to work safely around welding processes, metal materials, and industrial equipment Ability to safely operate welding equipment, hand tools, power tools, and machinery Ability to lift, move, and position materials as required Ability to work around and safely operate overhead cranes Benefits: Competitive pay with starting pay based on experience 4-day work week with daytime hours No weekends or overnight shifts Medical, dental, and vision insurance Company-paid basic life insurance Company-paid short-term disability Long-term disability insurance 401(k) with company match Profit Sharing Plan Health Savings Account (HSA) Paid time off Paid holidays PPE reimbursement Supplemental insurance options through Aflac, including Accident, Cancer, and Hospital policies Supportive, team-oriented work environment Opportunities for long-term career growth and skill development Why TRAIL-EZE?
