About the Role

Responsible for supporting the timely process through which end user issues and/or system problems are controlled. Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals. Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems. Administers and/or maintains specified systems. Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for supporting the timely process through which end user issues and/or system problems are controlled.
  • Respond to network or system problems.
  • Contact appropriate support resources when necessary.
  • Support telephones, including cellular devices.
  • Support hand-held, mobile devices.
  • Test and install new PC applications.
  • Records and tracks completion of Help Desk tickets for sake of workload, performance and quality tracking.
  • Assists with Technology projects, including the installation and repair of computers.
  • Move and install new PCs.
  • Provide technical assistance to repair PCs.
  • Assist in special projects such as department moves and setting up new locations.
  • Administer and/or maintain specified systems.
  • Add user accounts and set appropriate security access levels to various internal systems.
  • Disable user accounts and restrict access as needed.
  • Coordinate all current and future applications through the Microsoft Windows system.
  • Administer, monitor and maintain corporate desktop.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Combination of education/experience that would enable incumbent to meet essential functions and required competencies of the position.

  • Possesses knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the particular field.

  • Desired professional certifications include; CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, or related Office 365, or Microsoft OS administration certifications.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Possess a strong understanding of Windows 10 and Office 365.

  • Prior experience in supporting financial services applications is preferred, but not required.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to respond in a fast-paced environment.

  • Conduct tasks in a manner that complies with all consumer protection regulations and treats consumers fairly.
