Job Description
West Village Post Acute is hiring a Cook, Part-time in Greenville, SC. This is a part-time position.
West Village Post Acute is a skilled nursing facility located at 8 N. Texas Avenue in Greenville, South Carolina. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Chef to join our team in a long-term care setting. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, strong culinary skills, and a passion for serving our residents delicious, nutritious, and well-balanced meals.
Schedule: 5am-9am with every other weekend
Pay Range: $14-15/hr

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook high-quality meals in accordance with facility menus and resident dietary needs.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards.
- Coordinate with the Dietary Manager and Dietitian to accommodate therapeutic and texture-modified diets.
- Maintain organization, cleanliness, and efficiency in the kitchen.
- Demonstrate excellent time management and attention to detail during meal prep and service.
- Lead and collaborate with dietary team members to promote a positive, team-oriented work environment.
- Contribute creativity and input for menu planning and special events.
Qualifications:
- Culinary school education preferred.
- Cooking experience, preferably in healthcare, hospitality, or a high-volume kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices (ServSafe certification a plus).
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with strong communication and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of therapeutic diets and dietary restrictions preferred
