Position: Activities Coordinator

Palmettos of Charleston is seeking a Part-Time Memory Care Activities Coordinator 3 to 4 days a weeks. This is a part time position which is flexible on days and times. If you are looking for a fun, part-time, flexible position, this is it.

Experience

• Ability to pass a background check
• Associate's degree from an accredited college or university OR
• Satisfactory completion of two years of college OR
• Two years of experience in long term care as it relates to activities and memory care
• Experience with Dementia preferred

Position Highlights:

• Plan and coordinate well-rounded activities for a 15-apartment Memory Care unit
• Create activity calendar and ensure it is followed accordingly
• Assist with nursing/caregiving to ensure quality of care for the residents as needed.
• Work closely with Memory Care Director
• Partner with Life Enrichment Director for center wide activities
• Demonstrate positive and professional work habits
