Solar Atmospheres SouthEast, Inc. is hiring a Maintenance Technician - First Shift in Greenville, SC. This is a full-time position.

Solar Atmospheres is looking for a Maintenance Technician to add to its team in Greenville, South Carolina! What you'll do In this position, you'll work alongside an experienced Maintenance Manager to play a vital role in doing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and fixing furnaces and other equipment that keep Solar Atmospheres running. Your schedule will be Monday-Friday from 7 am - 3: 30 pm. We wish we could control when equipment breaks, but we can't, so occasional overtime may be needed as things come up. Under the support and guidance of the Maintenance Manager, you could expect the following responsibilities: Perform preventive maintenance, repair, and modifications on all machines and equipment Troubleshoot, problem-solve, weld, and repair equipment malfunctions Fabricate, organize, and stock spare parts Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace at all times Run occasional errands for parts and other maintenance/inventory needs Assist with some light building maintenance and upkeep Other job duties as necessary What you need to thrive in this role High School Diploma or (GED) Technical School degree or relevant work experience General knowledge of mechanical and electrical principles, wiring, and troubleshooting circuits Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds occasionally, plus work in a standing position for most of the day Dependability and a willingness to learn Experience in welding, pipe fitting, welding, and brazing a plus About us The mission of Solar Atmospheres is to add significant value to our customer's operations by thermally treating parts, principally in a vacuum environment, with an unwavering commitment to honesty in all relationships.
