Safety Training CoordinatorThe Safety Training Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, delivering, and tracking safety training programs for plant employees. This position serves as a key resource for environmental, health, and safety (EHS) initiatives by ensuring employees receive required safety training, understand company policies and procedures, and maintain compliance with regulatory and company requirements. The role requires a strong safety background, excellent communication skills, and proven training and facilitation experience.
Work Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 8: 00 AM - 6: 30 PM. Must be flexible to rotate for B shift coverage and work overtime as required.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and deliver safety orientation training for new hires, temporary employees, contractors, and transferred employees.
- Develop, schedule, and conduct classroom, hands-on, and on-the-job safety training programs.
- Maintain training records and ensure required certifications and training are completed on time.
- Track compliance with OSHA, and corporate safety training requirements.
- Create, update, and improve safety training materials and presentations.
- Conduct training effectiveness evaluations through observations, audits, quizzes, and employee feedback.
- Assist with safety meetings, safety campaigns, toolbox talks, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
- Maintain training calendars, schedules, and reports for management review.
- Promote a strong safety culture through effective communication and employee engagement.
- Support audits and inspections by providing training documentation and records.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What qualifications will make you successful?- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or safety-related education preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of manufacturing, EHS, safety, training, or related experience.
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and industrial safety practices preferred.
- Experience delivering training to groups of varying sizes and skill levels.
- Strong presentation, facilitation, and public-speaking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
- Ability to build positive relationships and communicate effectively with employees at all levels.Preferred Skills
- Experience in manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of lockout/tagout, powered industrial trucks, PPE, hazard communication, ergonomics, and machine safety training among others.
- Experience maintaining electronic training records and learning management systems.
Physical Requirements- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift up to 26 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 58, 000-63, 000 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
