Description:

Are you ready to leverage your expertise in quality engineering principles and SAP to drive organizational improvements and lead the implementation of new products at Schneider Electric? The role involves supporting end users, optimizing processes, and ensuring the efficient use of SAP systems to meet business objectives.

What will you do?
  • Drive Quality Excellence in MPAC, SWBD, and PZ4 Switchgear product lines (from Suppliers to Customers: engineering, manufacturing, shipping, fabrication, returns, etc.).
  • Participate and conduct continual improvement activities, such as 5S, SPS, Six Sigma and ISO, to enhance the quality system.
  • Analyze failures and perform corrective and preventive actions to respond to customer complaints.
  • Utilize the relevant quality programs and methods (8D, Lean/Six-sigma, SPS, etc.) to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Assist Quality Manager and team in establishing, implementing and maintenance of the quality management systems.
  • Contribute to improving customer satisfaction and achieving quality goals by defining and implementing projects and processes.
  • Contribute and lead Digital Quality implementation within the plant.
  • Identify & capitalize on best practices in quality.
  • Prepare Pareto charts, and 8D reports as required.
  • Review and modify quality documentation to ensure quality output from area.
  • Participate in Schneider Production System (SPS) and ISO audits.
  • Ensure action items generated from SPS and ISO audits are completed in a timely manner.

Who you will report to? Customer Satisfaction & Quality Manager.

What qualifications will make you successful?
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field is required.
  • 2+ years of experience in a Quality/Manufacturing Engineering role.
  • Familiar with Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, PFMEA and/or Poke Yoke, 8D/problem solving.
  • Experience applying and adapting tools and methods to achieve agreed upon performance goals.
  • Team player/leader who works well with diverse groups of people.
  • Possess drive for results and a hands-on approach.
  • Experience with ISO 9001 preferred.
