Piedmont Post Acute is an 88-bed skilled nursing facility located in Piedmont, South Carolina—just 20 minutes from Greenville. Our smaller size creates a quiet, close-knit environment where teamwork and resident care come first.

We are looking for a dependable Laundry Aide to join our team and help ensure residents receive clean, comfortable linens and clothing every day.

Position Summary

As a Laundry Aide, you will play an essential role in maintaining a clean, sanitary environment by ensuring all linens and resident clothing are properly cleaned, organized, and delivered.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect, sort, wash, dry, and fold resident laundry and facility linens
  • Ensure an adequate supply of clean linens is always available
  • Deliver clean clothing and linens to resident rooms
  • Inspect linens and remove damaged or stained items from service
  • Label resident clothing as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
  • Follow infection control and sanitation procedures
  • Safely operate laundry equipment and handle cleaning supplies
  • Monitor inventory and report supply needs
  • Report equipment issues to leadership promptly
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • 1 year of laundry or housekeeping experience preferred
  • Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills
  • Dependable and able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Compassionate and respectful toward residents
