Position Summary
We are seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care on a PRN basis. This role focuses on helping residents improve independence, function, and quality of life through skilled therapy services.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide skilled occupational therapy services per physician orders
- Document evaluations, treatments, and progress notes in compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and interdisciplinary team members
- Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy programs
- Participate in care planning, discharge planning, and team meetings
- Conduct in-services and staff education as needed
- Ensure compliance with all state practice acts and regulatory standards
- Degree in Occupational Therapy (Bachelor's required; Master's or Doctorate preferred)
- Active South Carolina Occupational Therapist license (OTR) in good standing
- Experience in skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred
- Familiarity with PointClickCare and Casamba preferred
- Strong documentation, communication, and clinical skills
