Job Description
ORBIS Corporation is hiring a Purchasing Specialist in Piedmont, SC. This is a full-time position.
1. Plan and control appropriate levels of inventory to support production, including cycle count program.
2. Initiate, review, and process purchase requisitions.
3. Coordinate with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule.
4. Review and manage change requests from customers, plants, and suppliers; reschedule as necessary.
5. Develop and maintain all master data related to planning, such as safety stock, lead times and lot size.
6. Support inventory management directives.
7. Other duties as assigned.

High school diploma or equivalent Bachelor's Degree
Work Experience Required Desired
Entry level 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing
2-5 years of experience in a plastics/ fabrication environment
