Description:

Position: RN or LPN Infection Preventionist

The ideal Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse candidate for this position should possess excellent time management, superior organization skills, and be an exceptional communicator.

Responsibilities include, but are not be limited to:
  • assisting with surveillance throughout the facility to promote infection prevention,
  • ensuring adherence to infection control standards, policies and procedures, and
  • reviewing and monitoring reporting data regarding facility acquired infections, treatments and control measures.

Qualifications:
  • Must have South Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) license or Licensed Practical Nurse License (LPN)
  • Must have superior communication skills & be an effective leader
  • Must be flexible, caring, compassionate, and a team player
  • Prior experience in Infection Control preferred
  • Prior experience in LTC/ SNF preferred
  • APIC certifcication Preferred

Salary:

Range LPN $62, 000-$68, 000 Range RN $79, 000-$89, 500
