What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Inspect, care for, maintain, and repair facility property, grounds, and equipment.
- Assist in planning and executing repair, maintenance, and new installation/construction projects.
- Perform routine groundskeeping and heavy custodial duties.
- Monitor facility systems, ensuring everything functions safely and efficiently.
- Participate in a rotating on-call weekend schedule and respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals. Familiarity with local building codes, ordinances, and safety regulations.
- Strong working knowledge of standard maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment, including their proper care and safe usage.
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, and climb depending on the project. Must be capable of heavy lifting and moving.
- Willingness and ability to work both indoors and outdoors in all types of weather.
