Position Highlights:

• Is responsible for maintaining clinical competency as evidenced by applying integrated nursing knowledge and skills, leadership, and communication skills.
• Utilizes the nursing process in assessment, planning, and implementing care.
• Exhibits organizational ability related to workflow, prioritizing to meet the patient care needs
• Integrates current standards of practice as well as local, state, and federal regulations related to nursing services in the care of patients.
• Practices continuous quality improvement thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Supervising nursing staff and monitoring needs.
• Coordinating daily administrative duties, including nursing assignments and patient care for the assigned unit.
• Mentor and train new staff and support and guide all staff members.
• Monitor medical charts and provide compassionate care and assistance to patients and families.
• Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Other job duties as assigned
• Must be caring, compassionate, have good communication skills, have a positive attitude, and be a team player
