Position Summary

As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide therapeutic care that improves residents' mobility, strength, and overall function.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care according to established treatment plans
  • Assist residents with exercises to improve mobility, strength, and independence
  • Monitor patient progress and report updates to the Physical Therapist
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive therapy environment
Qualifications
  • Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Active, unencumbered PTA license in South Carolina (required)
  • Experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred
  • Familiarity with PointClickCare (PCC) and Casamba preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Compassion for an underserved population
