Position SummaryAs an
Occupational Therapist (OT), you will evaluate and treat residents to improve their ability to perform daily activities, restore function, and maximize independence. You will collaborate closely with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy services focused on improving ADLs, strength, coordination, and functional independence
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Communicate effectively with physicians, residents, families, and care team members
- Participate in care planning, rehab meetings, and discharge planning
- Conduct staff in-services and training as needed
Qualifications- Degree in Occupational Therapy (Bachelor's required; Master's or Doctorate preferred)
- Active, unencumbered OT license in South Carolina (required)
- Must maintain all continuing education and remain in good standing with the State Board
- Experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred
- Familiarity with PointClickCare (PCC) and Casamba preferred
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
