If you are a Quality Management professional seeking a chance to grow with an industry leader, Emerson has a great opportunity for you! Based in our Aiken SC location, you will work in an outstanding manufacturing facility with a phenomenal team of professionals, to plan, direct, and coordinate Quality processes. You will develop and implement quality assurance standards, processes, and controls while leading our Quality Management System. You will evaluate production capabilities and recommend improvements. You will provide quality assurance support to ensure that the company’s products are manufactured to customer requirements, company specifications, and industry standards. In this role, you will collaborate with plant operations, supply chain, engineering, sales, and intra-company quality.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Drive continuous improvement of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System and serve as Management Representative of the Aiken site to the Quality System Registrar
  • Continuously improves the Quality Management System by ensuring planned system audits are conducted and effective corrective actions are implemented on all non-compliances
  • Establish and implement requirements for inspection and testing methods, techniques, and equipment, and developing test and inspection plans
  • Analyze failure, conduct root-cause analysis and drive implementation of effective corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence
  • Respond to customer complaints and supplier issues.
  • Work with suppliers and Supplier Quality team on associated process methods to ensure compliance to company and customer requirements
  • Provide reports/analysis on site quality performance to Americas quality team
  • Supervise and provide mentorship to the Quality team to ensure that the product lines and processes align with the requirements of the Quality Management System
  • Develop a collaborative, effective team of Quality personnel to support all quality and Emerson initiatives

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting
  • 3+ years of previous quality department leadership/management experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or quality management
  • 2-3 years of experience in Fabrication, Machining, and Assembly strongly preferred
  • Certified Six Sigma Blackbelt
  • Certified Lead Internal Auditor
