We are seeking a skilled and motivated
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehab team on a
PRN basis. Your expertise will play a key role in improving communication, cognition, and swallowing function for our residents.

Position SummaryAs a
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. You will collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and therapy team members to create individualized care plans and improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate residents within 24 hours (or 1 business day) of physician referral
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with physician approval
- Provide therapeutic interventions based on patient needs and goals
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Participate in care conferences, discharge planning, and interdisciplinary meetings
- Educate staff and caregivers on therapy techniques and maintenance programs
- Supervise Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) as applicable
- Conduct in-service training for facility staff
Qualifications- Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active, unencumbered SLP license in South Carolina (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
- Familiarity with PointClickCare (PCC) and Casamba preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
