We are seeking a dedicated
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our full-time rehab team. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping residents improve communication, cognition, and swallowing function.

Position SummaryAs a
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will evaluate, treat, and support residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. You'll collaborate closely with physicians, nursing, and therapy teams to deliver individualized, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform evaluations within 24 hours (or 1 business day) of physician referral
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with physician approval
- Provide therapy services in accordance with treatment plans
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care as needed
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation (evaluations, progress notes, discharge planning)
- Participate in care plan meetings, utilization review, and interdisciplinary conferences
- Educate residents, families, and staff on therapy programs and techniques
- Supervise SLPAs and Clinical Fellows (CFY) as applicable
- Conduct staff training and in-service education
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and facility standards
Qualifications- Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active, unencumbered SLP license in South Carolina (required)
- CCC-SLP preferred
- Experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred
- Knowledge of speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
- Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) and Casamba preferred
- Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
