Description:

Ardurra is hiring for a Structural Engineer V to join our Structural Engineering team in Greenville, SC.

Ardurra provides comprehensive structural engineering for a broad range of public, civil works, commercial, and institutional projects. Our structural solutions balance practicality with innovation, to adapt to often difficult sites or unusual building concepts.

As a Structural Engineer V, you would be responsible for acting as a specialist on structural engineering projects including analyzing technical project issues, performing investigations, developing designs, and recommending major changes.

Primary Duties:

  • Preform structural design and analysis for building and facility projects, including foundations, framing, and load-bearing systems.
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and seamless project execution.
      • Perform design, drawings, calculations, and technical documentation to ensure quality and compliance with codes and regulations.
        • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to support their professional growth and development.
        • Assist with project feasibility studies, risk assessments, and site evaluations for new and existing buildings and facilities.
        • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, codes, and technologies, ensuring that client projects incorporate the latest best practices and innovations.

        Education and Experience:

        • Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
        • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in structural engineering with a focus on buildings and facilities.
        • Professional Engineer (PE) license is required
          • Strong knowledge of building codes (e.g., IBC, ASCE 7, AISC) and local regulations for buildings and facilities.
          • Expertise in structural design software (AutoCAD, Revit, SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD Pro, etc.).
          • Interest in guiding and mentoring teams.
