About the role

Reporting to the Packaging Graphics Lead, this position will create and update packaging artwork in alignment with regulatory requirements while maintaining visual aesthetics.

Note: This is a 9-month contract role

  • Finished art and typesetting work involving Adobe Illustrator

  • Manage the housekeeping of packaging graphics artwork files as required

  • Creation of barcodes in alignment with GS1 certification requirements

  • New product development involving Photoshop, InDesign, and Adobe Illustrator

  • Assessing and updating labels for regulatory compliance

About you

We are searching for an experienced Finished Artist or Prepress Operator who loves a good process. You are meticulous, organised and have excellent time management skills. You possess solid communication skills to develop and maintain close relationships across the business.

  • Formal qualifications in Graphic Design are advantageous

  • Advanced training/capability in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat and Mac Operating System

  • Knowledge of prepress, layout, typography, design and mandatory wine/food labelling requirements

  • Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint
