About the role
Due to internal secondment, we have a looking for a Customer Service Officer superstar to join our dynamic, team focused and fun local customer service team. You are proactive, able to think outside of the box and are customer centric and passionate about providing the best customer experience.
This is a 6-months fixed term part time position requiring 20 hours per week. Hours of work would be Monday to Friday, from 10: 00 am to 2: 00 pm.
Reporting to the Customer Service Team Leader and based at our North Plympton site, you will be the first point of contact to support our Distributor customers, including processing orders, advising on pricing and delivery enquires, and answering phone calls to provide solutions and keep our customers updated. Your exceptional relationship building skills, attention to detail and ability to partner across all areas the business, will ensure your success and ours!
Ensures ‘logged’ into the IPFX phone system to guarantee availability to answer inbound calls presented to the Call Centre.
Provide order updates, assist customers with product availability, promotions, and pricing enquiries.
Receive, process and verify the accuracy of orders received via email, phone, EDI.
Manage your caseload efficiently and accurately at all times, including updating notes on client files and contacts to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Build and sustain positive relationships with customers and team members (Sales, Distribution, Production, Finance, Administration, Quality.)
Take personal responsibility for accurate completion of work and seek assistance when required.
Remain positive and respond to pressure in a calm manner whilst sharing information to ensure others are kept informed of issues.
Suggest methods to improve efficiency and service to both internal and external customers.
About you
Ideally you will have some Customer Service experience within a Manufacturing, Retail, Trade, Hospitality or FMCG industry
Experienced dealing with customer resolutions and problem-solving
Computer literate with solid Microsoft Office skills and experience with ERP/CRM systems (advantage).
Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written, with the ability to build meaningful relationships with all stakeholders including customers, to influence and negotiate to get the best outcome.
Demonstrated team player with a collaborative style who is positive, resilient and wants to work in a team that likes to have some fun.
Excellent time management and coordination skills with a sense of urgency, results focused, with high attention to detail and analytical mindset
You have a can-do attitude, are flexible, adaptable and always have the customer at the forefront of everything you do!
