As Head Bartender, you’ll be the face of our Aviator Bar, building its reputation as the go-to destination in the north of Adelaide. With your creativity and flair for cocktails, you’ll craft memorable guest experiences, inspire your team, and drive beverage sales through innovation and passion.

A little taste of your day to day

• Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the bar
• Consistently deliver the Crowne Plaza’s “Dare to Connect” branded service philosophy
• Create and serve high-quality beverages
• Deliver exceptional guest service and resolve feedback within established guidelines
• Support in developing innovative cocktail menus and weekly special rituals
• Manage inventory, stock rotation, and beverage cost control
• Ensure compliance with RSA and licensing requirements
• Support with restaurant services as required
• Take and process food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the bar and surrounding areas
• Train F& B Attendants, fostering a positive and high-performing team culture

What we need from you

• Previous experience in a Restaurant and Bar as Head Bartender or Bartender
• Barista skills and cocktail development experience desirable
• A passion for food, wine, drinks and dining out
• You’ll know how to prepare a wide range of drinks. Ideally with formal bartending training
• Valid South Australia Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
• Flexibility – Night, weekend and public holidays are all part of the job
• You’ll be on your feet most of the day with bending and kneeling​
• Sometimes you’ll need to lift, push or pull big objects like barrels and crates up to 23 kg​
• You’ll need a good grasp of reading, writing and basic maths​
• A great communicator, you’ll be warm, welcoming and easy to talk to​
• Display a commitment to our guests by consistently maintaining a high level of quality at all times
