The Role:
As an Accounts Clerk at South Terrace Precinct, you'll be at the heart of the hotel's financial operations - managing accounts payable and receivable, keeping our ledgers tight, and ensuring every transaction is processed accurately and on time. You'll work closely with the Finance & Business Support team to maintain the financial integrity that underpins everything we do.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and pay all hotel invoices in accordance with accounting policies - verifying authorisation, accuracy, and receipt of goods before payment.
• Load payment files, attach required documentation, and obtain necessary approvals before sending.
• Reconcile hotel payment accounts against supplier statements and ensure all accounts balance with the general ledger at period end.
• Manage accounts receivable - raise and send invoices, chase outstanding balances, and reconcile credit accounts promptly.
• Handle client and credit card enquiries, and reconcile prepaid accounts with the general ledger.
• Support the broader Finance team as needed and attend all scheduled meetings.

What You'll Bring:

• Experience in an accounts payable/receivable or finance administration role, ideally in hospitality or a similarly fast-paced environment.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and general ledger reconciliation.
• Proficiency with computerised accounts systems and strong attention to numerical accuracy.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Clear and professional communication skills - both written and verbal.
• A collaborative team player who's happy to roll up their sleeves and support where needed.
