About the Role

As Sales Representative, you'll be the face of Schneider Electric across the Nelson, Marlborough, & West Coast regions, and potentially Christchurch, depending where the successful candidate is located.

You'll manage a diverse customer base, drive growth, and promote our trusted brands like PDL by Schneider Electric. This is a field-based role with autonomy, backed by full product training, sales mentoring, and access to a global network of peers.

What Will You Do?
  • Build and manage relationships with electricians, wholesalers, builders, and specifiers.
  • Achieve sales targets through strategic planning and execution.
  • Educate customers on Schneider's product suite and digital tools.
  • Collaborate with marketing, technical, and operations teams.
  • Represent Schneider at trade events and training sessions.
  • Travel across the region with some overnight stays (vehicle provided).


About You

You're a confident communicator and relationship builder with a passion for sales and customer success. You may come from a trade, sales, or marketing background-what matters is your drive, curiosity, and ability to connect.
  • Sales, marketing, or trade experience (electrical knowledge a plus).
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, organised, and digitally savvy.
  • Full driver's licence and ability to travel regionally
