The Culture Manager is an exciting new role within a newly formed Culture function, a function dedicated to enhancing employee experience, promoting inclusivity and cultivating a positive working environment. Reporting into the Head of Culture and Inclusion, the role will play a pivotal role in shaping our company culture, ensuring that our values are reflected in every aspect of the employee journey.

We are looking for an individual who is a strategic thinker, someone with a passion for culture and has demonstrable experience in the design and delivery of strategic Culture initiatives, together with large scale culture change programmes.

The role will form part of the Culture and Inclusion Team, working alongside three Culture and Inclusion Specialists and Colleague Proposition Manager. This is a role where you can make a real difference to our colleagues and play a key part of our growth plans.

There will be travel expected with this role, so must be prepared to get out and about to sites.

Lead the development and delivery of key culture programs and colleague propositions that achieve measurable results and long-term behaviour change in pursuit of our desired culture.

You will be a dynamic problem-solver who excels at collaborating cross-functional working to ensure that our values aren't a separate series of initiatives but are woven into the fabric of our thinking and acting at Maximus UK. You will work closely with our communications partners to create compelling and engaging content to support the embedding of our values across Maximus UK.

Business partner with key project stakeholders across Maximus to ensure buy in and business readiness for all projects and programs demonstrating appropriate change management principles and practices. Providing guidance to senior operational stakeholders to ensure optimal delivery of new business transformation initiatives, ways of working and organisational culture change.

Foster a positive and engaging work environment by collaborating with the Engagement Team to create innovative employee engagement strategies. Using the annual engagement survey data to identify key themes and areas of focus.

Build a culture of continuous improvement in support of the e listening strategy, engaging with colleagues through focus groups, and collaborating with Inclusive Network groups to seek feedback to shape our culture initiatives.

Being data focused, you will monitor and assess the effectiveness of culture programmes and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.

You will build deep relationships with leaders and People function centres of excellence across the organisation to optimise the impact and embedding of our programmes and initiatives.

Together with the Head of Culture and Inclusion, you will be responsible for managing and coaching Inclusion Networks, Colleague Forums and managing relevant Boards and communities of champions (focusing on organisational representation, their capability and impact)

You will leverage technology and innovation to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery within the function, bringing with you new ideas of how to drive high impact culture change across the organisation.

With a drive for problem solving, you will identify opportunities to automate processes, improve service quality, and drive cost-effective solutions that benefit both employees and the business. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation that drives our business growth agenda and creates and maintains a competitive edge in the market, ensuring our people growth is diverse.

With a passion for culture, you will stay up to date with industry best practices and bring relevant recommendations to the leadership team to support the Culture and Inclusion agenda.

Qualifications & Experience

• Extensive culture change experience including programs and initiatives across large scale organisations

• CIPD Level 5, or comparable qualifications across Culture, Employee Engagement or Organisational Development.

• Experience in embedding organisational values and behaviours, culture and inclusion principles and practices.

• Proven track record of building, delivering and scaling culture and inclusion programs across organisations with proven impact, modeling change management principles and practices

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proven track record in communicating effectively and ability to inspire an inclusive mindset and deliver a compelling message across all levels in the organisation

• A solid understanding of industry benchmarks, leading edge practices and innovations in inclusion and culture change

• Understanding of Inclusion principles is desirable but not essential.

• Experience working in a team environment, building relationships and influencing key partners, demonstrating ability to get results through collaboration

• Experience of using data and analytics to drive insight and change

• Strong interpersonal skills across all levels.
