Join our dynamic team as a
Warehouse Manager in our Queretaro Plant.Responsibilities: - Manage a group of warehouse employees/Supervisors (Warehouse, Receiving & Shipping).
- Organize and manage (or control) warehousing operations, including reception, storage, order preparation and shipments according to SPS principle.
- Measures and analyzes warehousing performance (cost and service) and implement corrective actions.
- Manages projects to design and optimize warehousing processes & lead transfers lines on warehousing topic
- Responsible for the department budget.
- Manage transportation operations according to defined transportation operating plans.
- Responsible to perform Annual Physical Inventory & Inventory accuracy
What do you get to do in this position?- Executes actions to optimize Warehouse (space and labor)
- Deveolp strategies to control warehouse cost (transportation, over time, labor, etc.).
- Administers systems to minimize discrepancies at Plant
- Collaborate with Upsmtream team to execute unhealthy inventory in a timely manner.
- Develops strategies to meet SPS objectives for the corresponding domains.
- Support Key Users or to be a Key user on Supply Chain Management (SCM).
- Accountable for evaluating and maintaining SAP, Kanban and manufacturing systems in order to effectively manage and control inventory levels.
- Participate in plants Short Interval Management (SIM) process.
- Responsible of Annual Physical Inventory
- Responsible to define and update the Warehouse parameters in SAP & execute actions to improve floor space at Warehouse.
- Insure products availabilities by taking actions to solve innacuracy at Warehouse.
Qualifications- Bachelors' Degree in Engineering
- 2-3 years related experience in warehouse management, material flow, or inventory management within a manufacturing industry.
- Inventory control process knowledge: SAP, KANBAN, MRP, OFO, etc.
- Functional knowledge of Material Management Computer System - MRP.
- Ability to change with a dynamic workload: From heavy multi-tasking during peak workloads - to very focused, detail oriented work during critical projects.
- Strong project management, team leadership and communication skills are required.
- Advanced English skills 80%
Preferred: - Certification- CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) and/or CPIM (Certified Production and Inventory Management).
