About the Role
This is an exciting hands-on Finance Business Partner opportunity to join an ever-growing Queensland region within a large organisation. You will partner with the sites leadership team to support the delivery of commercial and strategic priorities and BAU activities, leverage financial perspective to improve risk awareness, strategic decision making and integrated performance management.
Reporting to the Head of Operations Finance, working intimately with local team and other functions, you will be responsible for:
Preparation and analysis of monthly management reports, monthly forecast (MME), Ad hoc analysis including deep dives
Provide technical expertise and advice on financial issues to operational managers to assist in managing overall financial responsibilities
Build collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders, including GM Manufacturing, Regional Manufacturing Manager, Production Manager, CI Manager, Sales & Operations and broader teams.
Lead and manage preparation of functional budget and forecast models that consider market conditions, plants performance and efficiency.
Maintain the standard costs
Provide financial and business support for the Operations Team
Annual budget and periodic forecasting
Assist site management to control inventory
Assist in capex process from production of financials for capex submission to management of costs for approved capital projects
Proactively participate in improving processes, tools and systems to improve visibility and accountability.
Create and drive a culture of Finance excellence through all interactions with the business.
About You
Professional qualification (CPA/CA)
Proven finance business partnering experience in a manufacturing environment, minimum 5 years’ experience
Understand the standard costing and conversion process
Stakeholder management skills and experience liaising with multiple levels within an organisation and inclusive of ability to manage reporting relationships in a matrix organisation
Experience with driving process improvement and have the appetite for driving change
Robust analytical and problem-solving skills with advanced capability in Excel
Financial and commercial acumen
Demonstrated capability to drive and implement transformational change within area of responsibility
High attention to detail and accuracy/integrity of processing/reporting
Expertise in large ERP (SAP preferred) and BI system
