We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to join the team as a Customer Project Officer and Expeditor in our Brisbane office.

The Customer Project Officer will be responsible for initiating, developing and maintaining project deliverables tracking to support the project managers to implement consistent and accurate status reports, forecasts and associated reporting functions.

The Project Officer acts as a liaison between the Pre-Sales / execution teams with key stakeholders including GSC, OM, Solutions Purchasing and OG Suppliers will follow the Schneider Electric Customer Project Process (CPP) and will enable clear monitoring and visualization of progress vs project and portfolio requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Respond to customers (internal and external) in a timely and professional manner at all times
  • Maintain a professional relationship and ensure a customer-centric focus when completing activities
  • Influence and motivate the Stakeholders / Project teams and their processes and systems in alignment with Schneider Electric policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and compliance
  • Facilitate communication channels and reporting to ensure that stakeholders have input to, and are kept up to date, on relevant activities and decisions
  • Ensure all customer projects are implemented using the CPP
  • Ensure Projects have deliverable tracking established and monitored in an accurate and timely way
  • Manage projects deliverables tracking to schedule on weekly / fortnightly / monthly basis as required for each project
  • Work with the Project Manager, HOP and other key stakeholders to ensure all reporting are established and monitored correctly, enabling accurate forecasting and reporting
Ideal Candidate
  • Trade/Engineering/Technical based qualification in electrical or refrigeration trade and / or University Degree and / or Post Graduate qualification or relevant experience
  • At least 5 Years of experience in Project Support for Planning / Implementation / Business Management required preferably in the Data Centre industry.
  • Project Management certification (desirable)
  • Background in digital systems / tools, process improvement and data visualization
  • Background in project execution in a relevant industry such as IT, technology, engineering or construction (highly desirable)
