About the Role

As the Village Duty Manager, you will support the day-to-day operations of the Hayman Colleague Village, home to over 360 rooms accommodating IHG colleagues, students, contractors and visitors.

Working closely with the Village Manager, you'll lead a team and oversee operations. You'll ensure a safe, welcoming and well-managed living environment while collaborating with resort departments to deliver an exceptional colleague experience.

Salary: $81, 000

What we need from you

We're looking for an organised, people-focused leader with experience in accommodation, hospitality or village operations.

• Experience in staff accommodation, hotels, resorts, villages or similar environments.

• Strong leadership, communication and people management skills.

• Experience managing payroll, rostering, budgets or operational administration.

• Confidence handling colleague enquiries, performance and tenancy matters.

• A proactive, hands-on approach with a commitment to service excellence and safety.

• Luxury hotel or resort experience is desirable.

• Tertiary qualifications in Hospitality, Hotel Management or Business (desirable).

• Current Queensland Driver Licence.

• Queensland RSA Certificate (or willingness to obtain).

• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
