About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Night Manager to take charge of the hotel overnight, acting as the Manager on Duty in the absence of the General Manager, Front Office Manager, and Hotel Manager. This pivotal role ensures the smooth operation of the hotel throughout the night by maintaining service standards, attending to guest needs, and overseeing the safety and security of the property. The Night Manager will lead the overnight team, supervise the completion of the night audit process, and ensure that all departments are supported to deliver a seamless guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional guest service by anticipating needs, resolving complaints with professionalism, and ensuring efficient check-in and check-out processes.
• Supervise the completion of the night audit process, ensuring all revenue, transactions, and payments are processed accurately and in line with policies.
• Lead and support the overnight team, maintaining consistent communication and ensuring operational standards are met.
• Monitor and maintain hotel security and safety procedures throughout the night.
• Liaise with Housekeeping, Reservations, and Maintenance to ensure rooms are prepared and special requests are fulfilled.
• Provide accurate information on hotel services, packages, and local area events to assist guests and maximise their stay experience.

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in a front office or night management role within a hotel environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate an overnight team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to resolve guest issues professionally.
• Sound organisational and problem-solving abilities, with strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in hotel property management systems and a solid understanding of night audit and accounting functions.
• Commitment to maintaining service standards, hotel security, and workplace health and safety.
• Ability to work independently while fostering collaboration across hotel departments.
