About the Role:
The Concierge Department is often the first point of contact and the first impression for guests. Warm, knowledgeable service and helpful guidance reassure guests they’ve made the right choice to stay with us. To deliver a great guest experience – a Concierge will be point of call offering local area knowledge to guests, assist with luggage, & assist with porter duties to make sure they have all they need for a great stay.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests with warmth, professionalism, and a focus on creating memorable experiences.
• Assist with check-ins, check-outs, and provide information on hotel services and facilities.
• Handle guest calls, messages, requests, and concerns promptly and courteously.
• Record guest preferences to personalise future stays.
• Accurately process payments and transactions.
• Carry out porter and concierge duties, including assisting with luggage and special guest requests.
• Resolve guest issues using service recovery guidelines and escalate when necessary.
• Support reservations, cancellations, and booking changes as required.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to deliver seamless service.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, and hotel protocols.

Skills & Experience:

• A genuine passion for hospitality and creating great guest experiences.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving skills with a proactive, guest-first attitude.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use hotel systems (training provided).
• Ability to handle cash/credit transactions with accuracy.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 23kg and being on your feet for long periods.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Current valid driver’s licence (not learner).
