Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a small, hardworking kitchen team - build pride, pace and positivity
  • Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations across all outlets
  • Own conference and event catering, including menu design for everything from corporate meetings to weddings
  • Order and manage stock with strong cost control and minimal wastage
  • Write and manage kitchen rosters effectively
  • Maintain exceptional standards of food quality, safety and presentation
  • Work collaboratively with a supportive, friendly hotel team - FOH, events and leadership

What You’ll Bring:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef, or a Senior Sous Chef ready to step up
  • Confidence in menu writing, stock control, rostering, and kitchen management
  • A calm head under pressure - and a genuine commitment to a positive team culture
  • A hands-on approach: you’re happy on the tools and love being in service
  • Passion for developing others - mentoring junior chefs and building capability
  • Event catering experience highly valued (we’re not looking for “restaurant only” backgrounds)
  • An open mindset, creativity and energy - someone whose ideas will evolve the offering
  • Excitement for a role with autonomy: this is your kitchen to shape
