Key Responsibilities

• Support delivery of hotel financial, operational and strategic goals
• Lead people initiatives including training, culture and team engagement
• Maintain a strong on-floor presence to elevate the guest experience
• Oversee WHS, compliance and responsible business practices
• Contribute to business planning, reporting and asset optimisation
• Represent the hotel during VIP visits, events and community activities
• Provide highly hands-on operational leadership across the hotel

What You’ll Bring

• Strong operational knowledge across all hotel departments with a Rooms-focused background
• Proven leadership capability with a focus on culture, engagement and team performance
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Commercial mindset with budgeting, forecasting and reporting experience
• Experience as a Rooms Division Manager or Executive Assistant Manager, with aspirations to progress into a General Manager role
• Openness to relocating to Cairns for the opportunity

• RMLV / QLD Approved Manager
• Food Safety Handling
• First Aid & CPR
• Fire Warden training
