Senior Medical Information Officer

What you’ll achieve

As a Senior Medical Information Officer, you will be part of our executive leadership team, with a primary focus in Australia and New Zealand, representing Dedalus in a clinical context, to be an ambassador for the business, and to provide oversight of all clinical safety issues.

You will be an executive leader and strategic thinker, with a strong medical and technical background.

You will:

  • Offer insight into how technology can be used to make the health care systems efficient and recommends changes to meet medical needs
  • Support internal teams with health domain knowledge, formulating and aligning the clinical vision
  • Enable the company to find product-market fit to address the requirements of the healthcare industry
  • Be the key contributor to the business plan working through the product life cycle from sales to implementation
  • Develop and communicate clinical strategy, ensuring the patient care and safety are a consistent company priority
  • Review and incorporate health and medical surveillance standards as defined and recommended by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and other governmental and legal agencies

Essential Requirements

  • Medical degree or equivalent combination of education and related field experience (mandatory)
  • Leadership experience working with various occupational medicine areas
  • Experience working with compliance related policies, procedures, regulations, guidelines, and laws
  • In-depth understanding of business and technology strategies
  • Experience working with multi-cultural and global environments where both linguistic and cultural differences are key to understand and embrace
  • Experience in translating specific business domain needs (i.e. Healthcare) into technology enabled user experience
  • Experience working at C-level to present strategic solutions across a broad technical area

Desirable Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills to communicate with customers, internal teams and large conference groups
  • Strong creative thinking, problem solving, planning, time-management and organisation skills to balance and prioritise work
