Description:

Seeking a reliable and efficient Logistics Coordinator to join our team here at our processing facility in Cannon Hill. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and timely transportation of our products from our facilities to customers and partners. You will be responsible for coordinating shipments, managing carrier relationships, and maintaining compliance with food safety and cold chain standards.

The ideal candidates for the role will be:

  • Reliable and punctual
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication
  • Initiative and have a proactive solutions-based approach to your work
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite and adaptable to software systems
  • Be a positive team player
  • Experienced in a similar role preferred but not essential

Your responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Schedule and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments
  • Monitor temperature-sensitive logistics and ensure proper handling during transit
  • Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to resolve shipping issues
  • Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation in compliance with industry and regulatory standards (e.g., USDA, HACCP)
  • Optimize logistics routes to reduce delays, costs, and spoilage
  • Track inventory movement and assist with warehouse coordination as needed
  • Ensure all logistics operations comply with safety and hygiene protocols.
