Description:
Manpower is looking for a Recruiter - Permanent Placement that will act as a subject matter expert to a single or multi-market territory, be accountable for driving successful recruitment and perm placement processes through consultative client engagement and development and execution of effective recruitment strategies that meet/exceed client hiring objectives.
As a Recruiter - Permanent Placement you will:
• Drive permanent placement revenue within a specific geography and area of discipline to include Industrial Operations and Skill Trades, Business Services and/or Sales and Marketing
• Collaborate with the market field teams to achieve regional sales goals
• Act as a subject matter expert and market resource to help educate the field team on permanent placement best practices
• Consult with client companies on effective recruitment and hiring strategies
• Negotiate terms of business with client companies
• Develop and execute sourcing and recruitment strategies through social media, networking and direct-recruiting efforts to attract 'best fit' talent
• Proactively recruit and on-going development of candidate pipeline
• Identify new business opportunities
• Effectively guide client and candidate through interview, hiring, salary negotiations and post-hire processes
Qualifications:
• High School diploma. Bachelor's degree considered an asset
• Minimum 1 year experience in customer service
• Minimum 3 years experience in recruiting white collar positions
• Knowledge of recruiting blue collar positions is considered an asset
• Minimum 3 years experience in sales; • Experience in a 360 desk recruitment role
• Knowledge of Greater Toronto Area market considered an asset
• Experience in Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g. Taleo, Avature, JobApp)
• Excellent communication skills in English; • Highly sales oriented with strong organizational skills
• Autonomous with a strong sense of urgency, detailed oriented and at ease with multitasking
