We are searching for the best talent for a MRP & Inventory Control Manager to join our Team!
Summary:
The MRP & Inventory Control Manager oversees and enhances our materials requirements planning (MRP) and inventory management processes. This role will ensure optimal inventory levels, reduce costs, and improve supply chain efficiency, contributing to our overall organizational success.
Key Responsibilities
Manage Inventory Levels: Monitor, analyze, and maintain appropriate inventory levels to meet production and customer demands.
MRP Strategy Leader: Implements and manages the MRP systems to ensure accurate production planning and materials availability according with Site Strategy
Data Analysis: Analyze inventory data and trends to identify areas for improvement in inventory turnover and waste reduction.
Collaboration: Collaborate with purchasing, production, and sales teams to align inventory management strategies with organizational goals.
Process Improvement: Develop and implement standard methodologies for inventory control and MRP processes.
Supplier Management: Maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate terms and ensure timely deliveries of materials.
Reporting: Generate reports on inventory performance metrics, including turnover rates, stockouts, and excess inventory.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards related to inventory management.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
Minimum 6 years of proven experience in MRP and inventory management, preferably in a controlled substance manufacturing environment.
Experience in warehouse strategic capacity management
Experience in logistics and transportation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Proficient in inventory management softwares such as SAP, SmartOps, Microsoft Excel, etc
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong leadership skills with a commitment to team success
Preferred:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on continuous improvement
Other
This position requires up to 15% domestic and international travel
