Forecasting & Innovative Solutions Lead to drive the evolution of forecasting methodologies and spearhead the implementation of cutting-edge analytical solutions. This role will focus on enhancing forecasting capabilities, integrating advanced technologies, and identifying innovative approaches to improve business decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking, technical expertise, and leadership skills to transform forecasting into a competitive advantage while also bringing innovative and/or efficient solutions to existing processes and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Forecasting & Predictive Analytics

Responsible for leading the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of robust forecasting models that support key business decisions across the organization. As a strategic thought partner to cross-functional teams, responsible to deliver accurate, data-driven insights and long-range forecasts that inform business planning, identify market opportunities, and mitigate risk.

  • Manage Forecast Activities for all TA areas:
  • On-Cycle Activities: BP | JU | NU |LRFP
  • Off-Cycle Activities: Performance Tracking
  • Develop and refine forecasting models using advanced statistical techniques.
  • Drive scenario planning, trend analysis, and risk assessment to support strategic decision-making.
  • Partner with business key stakeholders to gather all relevant assumptions and align forecasts with business objectives.
  • Communicate clearly forecast trends, assumptions and business implications to senior leadership, enabling data-driven strategic decisions.
  • Continuously explore new data sources and methodologies to enhance forecast accuracy and agility.
  • Integrate local forecast in NA Forecasting Platform (FUSION)

Innovative Solutions

Lead the development and implementation of transformative strategies that drive innovation across our organization. Drive transformational initiatives by identifying emerging technologies, optimizing processes, and leading cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions. With a strong focus on strategic thinking, creativity, and execution responsible to bridge business needs with cutting-edge advancements to enhance value creation, customer experience, and long-term growth.

  • Identify gaps and opportunities within SIA (Strategy, Insights & Analytics area) on current analytics, tools, and reporting processes to bring new methodologies, data and efficiencies.
  • Pilot and scale innovative solutions (e.g., predictive models, automation tools, AI-driven platforms) that improve business agility and decision-making.
  • Create connections and partnership with US counterparts to leverage and stay well-informed of industry trends, emerging technologies, and data science innovations to drive continuous improvement.
  • Team & Project Management
  • Lead cross-functional projects and/or mentor junior analysts.
  • Manage vendor partnerships or external consultants related to forecasting or innovation solutions initiatives.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in forecasting, predictive analytics, or innovative data-driven solutions.
  • Robust expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning, AI, and data visualization tools (Python, R, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
  • Experience implementing advanced analytics in business environments, preferably in highly regulated industries.
  • Ability to communicate complex analytical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
  • Proven track record of leading innovation initiatives
  • Strong problem-solving skills, strategic mindset, and a passion for leveraging data to drive business impact.
  • Ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and lead high-impact initiatives.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or technology industry.
