About the Internship:

As a Human Resources Intern at Viwinco, you will support the HR team by assisting employees, applicants, and the public with HR policies, procedures, and personnel functions. You will help manage HR records and reports within the HRIS system and collaborate with the Learning & Development and Safety departments on various projects. This role provides hands-on experience in HR operations while contributing to key initiatives within the organization.

Location: 851 Hemlock Road, Morgantown, PA
Duration: Approximately 10 weeks (May – August 2025)
Compensation: $18.00 per hour

*Must be authorized to work in the United States and provide your own housing

Interns will support key company initiatives, with responsibilities that may include:

  • Prepare and maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
  • Prepare and maintain onboarding materials
  • Assist with onboarding processes
  • Input data/personnel information updates to HRIS
  • Aid employees with use of HRIS
  • Observe investigation/resolution of employee relation concerns
  • Support HR functions and operations
  • Contribute to HR projects and initiatives
  • Help organize learning & development initiatives
  • Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
  • Collaborate with HR, Shared Service and L& D teams on administrative tasks like onboarding and training
  • All other duties assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
  • Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree (Human Resources Management, Business, Psychology, Communication, etc)
  • Analytical mindset
