Job Description:

Vitalant is hiring a Laboratory Supervisor to bring skilled technical support to our Blood Manufacturing team. Your impact as a supervisor is vital. This role requires a skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist to lead a dynamic team.

What to Expect

Base Pay: $83, 491.20-$110, 208.80

Schedule: Days --rotates some Weekends

As a Medical Laboratory Scientist Supervisor, you'll get to:

• Promote a work team environment and participate as an active team member.
• Ensure all lab functions are covered (hire, supervisor, train, maintain team schedules).
• Review and evaluation production and quality of all products.

Requirements:

KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION

• Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological, medical technology or clinical laboratory science required.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

• Certification as a Medical Technologist by a recognized certifying agency required or CLIA equivalent for high complexity testing required.
• BB or SBB preferred.
• State licensure (as required by regulations).

EXPERIENCE

• One year of laboratory experience required.
• Two years supervisory experience preferred.
