Vitalant is seeking a Donor Care Technician II dedicated to making a positive difference. What to Expect

Schedule: Sunday through Saturday, Five days a week, variable hours between the hours of 6am-8pm based on business needs, Every other weekend required.

As a Donor Care Tech II, you'll get to:

• Perform donor interviews and appropriately determine donation eligibility.
• Participate in donor rebooking activities.
• Perform whole blood, double red cell and plasma phlebotomy of donors in accordance with applicable Standard Operating Procedures.
• Works as part of a team to achieve daily team production goal. Assists and supports other team members, as required on both Mobile and Fixed Sites.

Requirements

• Active driver's license with clean driving record.
• High School Graduate or GED
• Three (3) months previous experience as a Donor Care Tech
  • To include training and competent on Alyx Blood Collection Systems
• Ability to travel as required
• Able to lift 40lbs
