    As a Laboratory Technician, you support our high complexity testing laboratories by preparing all blood components including centrifugation, separation, freezing, thawing, washing, storage, sterile docking, transformation, and filtration.

    What you can expect:

    Schedule: Monday - Friday 3: 00 PM - 11: 00 PM and e/o Weekend

    Training: Days for approx 4 weeks. M-F

    This is a Union Represented role.

    As a Laboratory Technician you will get to:
    • Process all incoming donated blood products.
    • Assure product qualify, volume, assay requirements, appearance and time requirements.
    • Perform labeling of routing and special components and quarantine of unacceptable components.
    • Perform meaningful tasks that connects you to community.
    • Thrive in a highly regulated environment.


Requirements

      • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
      • Two years previous experience in Healthcare or Laboratory preferred.
      • Able to perform data input accurately.
      • Medical Lab Technician or Medical Assistant credentials preferred.
      • Ability to follow SOP and recognize potential deviations.
