Position Type: Full Time

Salary Range: $70, 000.00 - $90, 000.00 Salary

Human Resource Generalist

Job Summary:

Urban Engineers is seeking qualified individuals in the Philadelphia Metro area to join our PA office as a Human Resources generalist. This position will be to support our offices in Philadelphia and NYC.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitors Performance Evaluation process according to ISO standards
  • Process employee benefits
  • Research and respond to employee insurance inquiries
  • Maintain COBRA and FMLA notices
  • Process COBRA enrollments and payments working with TPA
  • Process disability claims
  • Process status changes: New Hires, Separations, Compensation
  • Conducts new hire orientations and partners with hiring managers in on boarding process
  • Attend conferences and seminars related to HR as needed
  • Maintain internal payroll HR processes/spreadsheets
  • Supports recruiting process as needed
  • Participates in planning charitable events and company functions
  • Other Duties as Assigned


Job Requirements :
  • B.S in Business Administration, Management or Human Resources.
  • PHR preferred, but not required.
  • Minimum Experience: 2 to 5 years' experience in Human Resources: within an Engineering company a plus.
  • Field of Experience: Human Resources.
  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation
  • Attention to detail in composing, proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines Organizational skills for processing and follow up with internal and external contracts
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Excellent oral, written, and communication skills
