How You Will Make an Impact

A Marketing Intern at Reading Truck works under the direction of the Supply Chain Department to provide meaningful experience while supporting key supply chain initiatives. Will gain Exposure to ERP systems and supply chain analytics tools, hands-on experience with data visualization (Power BI, Excel), and Collaboration with cross-functional teams (Sales, Procurement, Operations).

What you will do:

• Local market research and opportunity planning
• VOC quantitative synthesis and internal presentation development
• Competitor intelligence program development
• Social and digital media support
• Other duties as required

Program Requirements:

• Be a full-time student in a 4-year college program in aligned Major: Marketing
• Junior year completed- preferred
• Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
• Relevant marketing coursework i.e. research, digital/social, content writing, graphic design (Canva, photoshop, etc.)
• Microsoft knowledge (PowerPoint, Excel, google sheets, etc.)
• Organized and task oriented
• Familiarity with ERP functionality
• Planning and scheduling logic
• Inventory and stock level knowledge
• Adhere to all company policies
• Attend orientation and check-in meetings
• Final presentation - prepare and present to company management

Work Environment

• Professional office environment and work on a manufacturing floor
• Sedentary work with extended periods of computer use
• Must be able to wear required Personal Protective equipment (PPE) - if required
