Polysciences, Inc. is hiring a Manufacturing Technician I in Warrington, PA. This is a full-time position.

The Manufacturing Technician I is responsible for the production of commercial products for the profile of Polysciences’ products. This role involves providing training, troubleshooting, and production of all commercial products as needed. The Manufacturing Technician I supports investigations, corrective actions, safety, and quality improvements on operations within the production teams.

Essential Functions:

  • Operations:

-Perform synthesis and blend batches for the profile of Polysciences’ as published on the weekly production schedule

-Receive training as required to execute established production processes.

-Work cross functionally with other operational teams to resolve equipment and technical issues as they arise.

  • Quality Assurance:

-Complete and document all activities and deviations per company GDP and QMS standards.

-Complete departmental PM and daily activities per established procedures.

-Aid non-conformance investigations and adapt corrective actions within time allotted as assigned by management.

  • Process Improvement:

-Support transfer of NPIs with engineering, validation, and commercial training.

  • Safety Compliance:

-Ensure safe working environment by following procedures, protocols, and 5s visual standards.

-Report any near-misses, accidents, or safety violations immediately. Assist as needed in EHS investigations.

  • Inventory Management:

-Contribute to inventory accuracy by ensuring batch issuance, consumable usage, and waste tracking per assigned batch tickets.

  • Communication:

-Communicate to peers and management in a concise manner.

  • Knowledge of high school level science (chemistry, physical chemistry, mathematics).

  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred.
  • ERP systems preferred.
  • Electronic maintenance programs preferred.
