Description:

As a Quality Control Technician Trainee, you will embark on journey designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to become a proficient Quality Control Technician. You will work closely with experienced professionals, learning the ropes of quality control and product inspection.

Quality Control Technician Trainee - What Will You Do?

  • Assist senior technicians in conducting inspections of incoming materials and finished products.
  • Learn and perform quality tests and measurements under supervision.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of quality control data.
  • Assist in identifying and reporting non-conformities or defects.
  • Collaborate with the quality control team to address issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Participate in the development and improvement of quality control processes and procedures.
  • Learn more about the Materials & Aggregate Industry in PA

Requirements - Who Are We Looking For?

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong desire to learn and develop a career in quality control within the building supply industry.
  • Basic understanding of construction materials is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to following established procedures.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both internal and external teams.
  • Willingness to take direction and learn from experienced technicians.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping.
  • Ability to acquire PDOT NECEPT aggregate certification within 18 months of employment.
  • Able to collaborate and communicate across the business.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to grow and learn.
