Description:
As a Quality Control Technician Trainee, you will embark on journey designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to become a proficient Quality Control Technician. You will work closely with experienced professionals, learning the ropes of quality control and product inspection.
Quality Control Technician Trainee - What Will You Do?
- Assist senior technicians in conducting inspections of incoming materials and finished products.
- Learn and perform quality tests and measurements under supervision.
- Document and maintain accurate records of quality control data.
- Assist in identifying and reporting non-conformities or defects.
- Collaborate with the quality control team to address issues and implement corrective actions.
- Participate in the development and improvement of quality control processes and procedures.
- Learn more about the Materials & Aggregate Industry in PA
Requirements - Who Are We Looking For?
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong desire to learn and develop a career in quality control within the building supply industry.
- Basic understanding of construction materials is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to following established procedures.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both internal and external teams.
- Willingness to take direction and learn from experienced technicians.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping.
- Ability to acquire PDOT NECEPT aggregate certification within 18 months of employment.
- Able to collaborate and communicate across the business.
- Positive attitude and willingness to grow and learn.
