Description:
The Floating Weighmaster (Customer Service Representative) provides exceptional customer service while accurately weighing trucks, processing transactions, maintaining billing records, and supporting daily quarry operations. This role serves as a key liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring efficient order processing, accurate documentation, and a positive customer experience across multiple regional locations.
Floating Weighmaster (Customer Service Representative) What Will You Do?
- Operate scale to effectively weigh incoming/outgoing trucks in accordance with state laws and regulations.
- Produce accurate ticket data with regard to weights to service and bill customers, both commercial and private.
- Process payments and keep accurate inventory reports/billing records.
- Assist quarry superintendent with administrative functions.
- Develops and cultivates a solid working relationship with sales, operations, quality control, finance, and accounting in order to meet corporate goals and provide an industry best experience for our customers.
- Receives incoming calls and effectively addresses the call accordingly.
- Issues customer verbal quotes providing price and availability information.
- Converts customer request or quote into sales order.
- Research existing quotes and orders and assigns new request to proper quote or sales order when applicable.
- Travel to local regions - Bakersville, Tyrone, and Vintondale as needed.
- Represent NESL with the utmost professionalism.
Requirements - Who Are We Looking For?
- Previous weighmaster, dispatch or customer service experience preferred - If you don't have a license, we will help you get one.
- Excellent customer service orientation.
- Ability to process payments efficiently and accurately.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Capable and willingness to travel to job sites within a defined geographic territory.
- Team Mindset - "The NESL Way"
- High School Graduate/GED.
