Nemours Children's Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our new Urgent Care team in Glenn Mills, PA! This is an exciting opportunity to join our newly expanding Urgent Care Practices in 2026!
The Urgent Care Advanced Practice Provider (APP) provides direct and indirect care to patients and their families in an Urgent Care setting. This APP will function independently and collaboratively to provide medical care for patients from 0 through 20 years. This position will require the provider to work weekend days and weekday nights.
Key Responsibilities: - Practices collaboratively with physicians and other health care providers to provide high quality health care to children.
- Performs appropriate assessment of patient/family upon referral/admission and appropriate documents history and physical exam data.
- Performs ongoing assessment and evaluation of patient progress and revision of interdisciplinary plan of care.
- May use prescriptive authority if appropriately credentialed to do so. Collaborates interprofessionally as needed. Identifies patient/family need for further resources and initiates appropriate referrals.
- Documents of patient care and progress on patient's chart.
- Provides patient/family teaching based on identification of learning needs.

- PNP: Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse Licensure, Active unrestricted Pennsylvania Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner Licensure; Pennsylvania Prescriptive Authority; Pennsylvania Federal DEA; Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Certification via National Certification Center
- PA-C: Current unrestricted Physician Assistant License to practice in the state of Pennsylvania; National Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants; Pennsylvania Prescriptive Authority; Pennsylvania Federal DEA
- American Heart Association BLS upon hire
